Fauchier founded his own factory in 1730, which was perpetuated by his nephew, also named Joseph, beginning in 1751. Other examples of duck tureens are in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, de la Faïence, et de la Mode, in Marseilles, and the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Narbonne.
